Safe Local Drug Drop Off

The articles below highlight the importance of safely disposing of unwanted and/or outdated prescription medicines and keeping them out of the hands of younger children, especially teenagers.   Although the “Take Back” night has passed, our local Crescenta Valley Sheriff Station located at  4554 N. Fire House Youth Center NOW OPEN

 
                                                        
St. Lukes on Rosemont and Foothill has made space available for a youth center.  The small stone building was once the Station 19 Firehouse.  The Fire House is open Tuesday evenings for High School Students 6-9 pm and for Middle School Students 7:15-8:30 am (Rosemont Banking Day).  Pool table, foosball, video games and food.  Everything a [...]

Crescenta Valley Coalition Receives Federal Grant

The Crescenta Valley Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coalition was awarded a federal grant of $625,000 over the next 5 years.  As word spread of the news, congratulations streamed in from Supervisor Antonovich’s office, Congressmen Dreier and Schiff , Captain Silversparre, Chief of Police DePompa, many school officials and community leaders.
