The articles below highlight the importance of safely disposing of unwanted and/or outdated prescription medicines and keeping them out of the hands of younger children, especially teenagers.   Although the “Take Back” night has passed, our local Crescenta Valley Sheriff Station located at  4554 N. Briggs Avenue has three mailbox-type receptacles for anonymous drop off 24/7.  

Illegal drugs can also be dropped off in one of the mailbox-type bins. The items can be disposed of at the sheriff’s station with no questions asked. There are no surveillance cameras, no one will be watching those who decide to take advantage of the program, Captain David Silversparre stated.
